Cassandra Monique Batie is a performer, songwriter and actress from the US. She specializes in R&B and soul. In addition to an award like a Grammy Award and Golden Globe Award she has also been nominated for an Academy Award. Andra Day, an accomplished singer-songwriter with roots in gospel music and blues who has a flair for the current world. She is much more than an R&B throwback master. Andra was born Cassandra Monique Batie of Edmonds Washington became a resident in San Diego and metropolitan San Diego in which she went to school and sang at her church. She switched her attention towards the contemporary R&B to pop after graduating, but eventually was attracted back to the soul and jazz artists she listened to in her youth. An important break occurred in the form of a concert she gave was spotted by Kai Millard Morris who subsequently offered some of Day's songs to husband Stevie Wonder. In turn, the Motown legend connected Day to the music industry's veteran Adrian Gurvitz. Day was signed by Warner Bros. after gaining a large YouTube audience along with Gurvitz & Jeffrey Evans Buskin. The song was immediately taken up by DJs who began playing it on the radio. In the year 2015, following her signing with Warner Bros. Records she began work on her debut album Cheers To The Fall with Adrian Gurvitz. The album included the single Rise Up which became an iconic song of social justice campaigns all over the world. Day won two Grammy nominations for the categories for Best R&B Album for her album. The United States Versus Billie Holiday was her second studio album that was released in the year 2019 and it was a concept album about the life of Billie Holiday. The that same year, she was a part on screen in The United States Vs. Billie Holiday (2020), which is a biopic about Holiday's life. Andi Mathichak was born and raised in the US. She appeared first in TV programs like Orange Is the New Black or Blue Bloods, before debuting in horror films Halloween and sequels. Andi Matichak is an American actress born on the 03rd of May, 1994. She was born in Framingham Massachusetts United States.
