Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Iceland, Reykjavik. She is a CrossFit professional athlete. She also is the founder of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it in addition. Annie is the only woman to be crowned the winner of at the CrossFit Games twice. She placed second in the 2010, and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion as well as a media star. The first female to be awarded the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. She is also known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie was born and raised up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents as well as her siblings. As a fitness enthusiast since an early age, she took part in various school games and won several medals. The year 2009 saw Annie Thorisdottir participated in the CrossFit competition in California. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came second place, and also won an Olympic silver medal that same year. As a result of her impressive performance, she was able to win her first CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie, who had an impressive performance in 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first female to be crowned the winner of both CrossFit Games. Also, she received a trophy of silver in 2014 as well as a medal of bronze in CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie is a coach and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her concept. As she has gained more recognition as an athlete, Annie has been a face of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae and many other. In addition, she has her own Youtube channel titled "Annie" and has more than a thousand viewers. The channel is where she shares videos about the diet of her training, life with family and travel.
